 Some of my favorite whiskeys are of the humble, accessible, and easy drinking variety and in fact that is the exact type of whiskey you will find in my hand most evenings. But there are those occasions and moments that call for a glass of bourbon or rye with more depth, complexity, and richness, something fancy if you will, and thats a fine thing in its own right. Please join us for a flight of rare American whiskeys.

From innovative craft distilleries across the country to the great distilleries of Kentucky, rye whiskey - bourbons spicier cousin and Americas first whiskey - has never seen better days.

February 6 - Limestone, Mash, and Char: American Whiskey 101 
The basics as well as some of the nuances of bourbon, rye, and American craft whiskey will be illuminated, accompanied by a sampling from each category of the sweet brown stuff.

Basil Hayden
Makers Mark Cask Strength
Smugglers Notch
